Tribratanes.polri.go.id - The Lampung Regional Police (Polda) added 255 reserve personnel for the 2022 Krakatau Lilin Operation in order to secure Christmas and New Year Celebrations.
"The reinforcement is to help secure the Bakauheni Integrated Post, airports, terminals, train stations, and tourist attractions (beaches), which are within the jurisdiction of the Lampung Regional Police," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad.
Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad explained that the reinforcement was expected to provide a sense of security and comfort to the public for this year’s Christmas and New Year.
Lampung Regional Police itself has conducted a mapping for the security of vital objects for Christmas and New Year, consisting of 1,018 churches, one airport, 14 terminal locations, 13 train station locations and three port locations, 234 tourist objects, 61 shopping centers, and 84 hotels.
He also appealed to people who are on vacation and celebrating Christmas and New Year's Day to have a rest whenever they feel tired in rest areas that the government and the police have prepared.
