Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Government and all components of the nation continue to take Covid-19 pandemic seriously. Seeing the spike in cases recently, government has decided to implement Emergency Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) for Java and Bali regions. In order to support this policy, Indonesia National Police held Aman Nusa II Operation.
This was mentioned directly by the Head of the Public Affairs Division of Indonesia National Police, Police Inspector General Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, while reading the message from Chief of Indonesia National Police at Rutapama Building, Jakarta Police Headquarters, Friday (07/02/21).
"Chief of Indonesia National Police’s telegram has been issued STR/577/VII/OPS.2./2021 as of (2/7/2021). The centralised operation of Advanced Aman Nusa II coded will take effect tonight, July 3, 2021 and has been declared valid," Head of the Public Affairs Division of Indonesia National Police said.
In his statement, Head of the Public Affairs Division of Indonesia National Police explained the Advanced Aman Nusa II Operation was a follow-up to the Instruction of Minister of Home Affairs Number 15 Year 2021 on the Enforcement of Restrictions on Covid-19 Emergency PPKM in Java and Bali Regions. In point six it is stated the Governor, Regent, and Mayor are fully supported by Indonesia National Armed Forces, Indonesia National Police, and Attorney General's Office in coordinating and supervising the implementation of the Covid-19 Emergency PPKM.
"Follow-up to what has been done by Indonesia National Police regarding the instructions of Minister of Home Affairs regarding Covid-19 Emergency PPKM in Java and Bali. With the sixth point, police made Advanced Nusa Aman II Operation, previously there were also related to Covid-19, there used to be 5 task forces, now there are seven operational task forces," Head of the Public Affairs Division of Indonesia National Police said.
