Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Anti-terror 88 Corps arrested five terrorism suspects in the Central Sulawesi region on Thursday (16/3/23).
"The suspects arrested were ZA, KB, AF, MA and RAM," said Head of the Public Information Bureau, Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, Friday (3/17/23).
According to Ahmad Ramadhan, the five suspects belonged to the Central Sulawesi Jemaah Islamiah (JI) network. They are still under intensive examination at this time.
Apart from making arrests, investigators from the Anti-terror 88 Corps also conducted a search. A number of items of evidence were recovered from the search.
"This is still under investigation," said Ahmad Ramadhan.
