For a Month, Southeast Sulawesi ETLE System Has Recorded More Than a Hundred Thousand Violations

The ETLE ticketing system in Palu City, Central Sulawesi, which began on November 1, 2022, after previously being socialized by the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Traffic Directorate, has recorded 108,514 traffic violators.

This was conveyed by the Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police, Commissioner Didik Supranoto, when giving a press release regarding ETLE evaluation after one-month being used in Palu City, reported by insulteng.com, Friday (12/2).

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police said that of these types of violations, it was recorded that not using a safety belt was still the most common violation with a total of 94,788 violators, followed by violations of not using a helmet with 10,464 violators and 3,262 other types of violators.

To date, 1,811 confirmation letters have been sent to violators. In the process of sending a confirmation letter to the owner of the violating vehicle, the Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police said that he had collaborated with PT. Indonesian post.

Furthermore, Commissioner Didik added, the confirmation letter contained images of violations and if no re-confirmation was made to the backoffice of the Central Sulawesi Traffic Directorate, the officer would make a special note to the vehicle data in the ERI (Electronic Registration & Identification) system.

Apart from containing the violation image, it also lists the article that was violated, the cost of the fine that was violated, the date and place of the violation, the link to the website confirming the violation and the date and place of the trial of the violation.
