Natuna Sub-Regional Police Provides Trauma Healing to Landslide Victims

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Natuna. In response to the needs of psychological assistance for the landslide victims in Natuna, the female police officers from the Natuna Sub-Regional Police has provided trauma healing services to those who were affected.

“The trauma healing team approached the victims with a heart-to-heart approach, aiming to uplift spirits and provide psychological motivation,” said Police Assistant Second Inspector David Arviad, the Head of Public Relations of the Natuna Sub-Regional Police, on Thursday (3/9/23).

While some victims are yet to be located, a joint emergency response team continues to evacuate affected individuals. To expedite this process, an additional team from the Riau Islands Regional Police has been deployed to assist.

“At present, a total of 114 personnel from the Riau Islands Regional Police have arrived on Serasan Island and joined the emergency response team at the landslide location. With the addition of these personnel from the Riau Islands Regional Police, the aim is to help and accelerate the handling process,” he concluded.
