The Assistant Ops of National Police Chief, Inspector General Agung Setya, visited the members of Preventive Task Force at Logpond River Port Post, Wednesday (12/7).
In his visit, he conveys his deep condolences for the fallen members of the Police during the shootout that happened on November 29 and 30. He also thanked the members of Cartenz Peace Ops for their excellent job.
“The responsibility of being Police in maintaining the security is definitely not an easy job, especially in places with a lot of limitations, like Yahukimo for example. You people who are tasked in maintaing security in here are the chosen members. Keep your spirit high, maintain your good health, and stay solid,” says Inspector General Agung.
In his closing statement, members are asked to keep their guards up and always ready for anything.
