Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The police arrest seven perpetrators who raped a high school student in Probolinggo Regency, East Java. The seven perpetrators are MF (21), AR (20), MA (22), AW (22), MK (20), MYS (18) and AF (21). One of the suspect’s mother was hysterical when her child was arrested by the police.
"The victim with the initials RAL (16 years old) was raped in the middle of the forest. Knowing what happened to their child, the victim's parents immediately reported it to the police," explained the Head of Probolinggo Police, AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi, Thursday (12/15).
The police chief revealed that the rape started when one of the perpetrators, MF (21), met the victim on social media. Then, MF and his friends planned their hideous crimes by inviting the girl to meet. Upon their meeting, the girl was then taken to the middle of the Malabar forest, Gading District.
“The victim was forced to drink a liquor and then the rape began. Now, the seven suspects must be held accountable for their actions and are being charged with the law on the protection of women and children, which carries a threat of 15 years in prison," concluded the Probolinggo Police Chief.
