Inp.polri.go.id – Padang. The West Sumatra Regional Police asked the local community to obey with the partitioning of the border areas in the three areas affected by the implementation of the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in the area.
Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Satake Bayu said Emergency Community Activity Restrictions were implemented in three regions in West Sumatra Province, namely Padang City, Padang Panjang City and Bukit Tinggi City from July 12 to July 24, 2021.
Police Commissioner. Satake Bayu explained that this was in accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 20 of 2021 concerning Amendments to the Minister of Home Affairs No. 17 of 2021
Activity restrictions are aimed at various sectors such as education, offices, shopping malls, tourism and the arts and social culture of the community.
“We at the West Sumatra Regional Police and the Regional Police will fully support this policy,” said Pol. Grand Commissioner Satake Bayu
The three areas will be partitioned in the border area with neighboring cities or regencies. Police officers will set up isolation posts to monitor the entry and exit of vehicles from outside the area.
