West Sumatra Regional Police Chief: Twenty Thousand People Have Participated in the West Sumatra Police Vaccination

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Padang. West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Toni Harmanto said that his party continues to intensify vaccination activities. Today, vaccination is carried out simultaneously at 124 points in 19 districts and cities in West Sumatra.

"Just today we are targeting 25 thousand vaccinations," explained the Regional Police Chief.

The Regional Police Chief explained that since the last week, the West Sumatra Police carried out more than 20 thousand vaccinations in the Vaccine Festival. According to him, at least until next Monday more than 25,000s people have been vaccinated.


The Regional Police Chief assessed that the enthusiasm of the community was very high in vaccination, this fact refutes the assumption that the people of West Sumatra refuse the vaccine. "We hope that until the Vaccine Festival ends, more people will be willing to be vaccinated," said the Regional Police


In the field, Special Crime Investigation Unit and Security and Public Order continued the Regional Police Chief, they continue to try to provide an understanding to the public about the importance of vaccines.

The Regional Police Chief hopes that this effort could increase awareness and the community will get more and more vaccines.


The achievement of vaccination in West Sumatra, according to the Deputy Governor of West Sumatra, Audy Joinaldy, is still 26 percent. He hopes that the massive vaccination in the last few weeks can boost vaccination achievements in West Sumatra to 45 percent.

We are optimistic with the efforts of all parties and the existence of this Vaccine Festival can be achieved. Now actually the achievement has increased far from 26 percent. However, because the data has not been inputted, it is still at that figure, said the Governor Saturday (06/26).
