Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Pontianak. The Chief of the West Kalimantan Regional Police, Pol. Inspector General R Sigid Tri Hardjanto patrols the checks on the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in Pontianak City using a motorcycle.

There are more than 40 isolation points in the Pontianak City area and the city's border areas, this aims to separate community activities that have access to essential, non-essential, and critical sectors, explained the West Kalimantan Regional Police Chief.

The West Kalimantan Regional Police Chief said that prosecution of violators of the implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions in the cities of Pontianak and Singkawang would prioritize the human side.

"Officers in the field must understand what the essential and critical sectors are so that there are no misunderstandings in taking action in the field," explained the West Kalimantan Regional Police Chief.

The critical sectors are the most important, namely food and beverage distribution, health, transportation, disaster management, State Electricity Enterprise and Municipal Waterworks.

"Then for the essential sector, namely financial services, banking, government sector, export industry, and for non-essential sectors, such as recreation and entertainment areas," explained the Head of the West Kalimantan Regional Police.

Pontianak's Chief of Traffic Regional Police, Pol. Commissioner Rio Sigal Hasibuan said that during the implementation of the partition, people could still pass through but with selective priorities.

"The partitions here can still be passed, both by these critical community activities, for the community, especially the Kubu Raya, Mempawah, and Pontianak areas, they are still given access to cross this barrier, so we are really selective about priorities, which ones are urgent, remain welcome to pass, “explained the Pontianak's Chief of Traffic

Pontianak's Chief of Traffic explained that the isolation points for the implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions in Pontianak City were filled by joint personnel from related agencies.

In Pontianak City alone, there are more than 40 isolation points filled and this Emergency Community Activity Restriction is also assisted by the National Armed Forces, Mobile Brigade, Regional Police, Transportation Service and Municipal Police, so the current activities are joint activities of the relevant agencies," explained Traffic Head of Pontianak Police.
