Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Bandung. Since the beginning of the implementation of Emergency PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions) in West Java Province, thousand of violators consisting of individuals and companies who violate Health protocol have been prosecuted West Java Regional Police.
The actions taken starting verbal warnings and fines. Total fines collected from violators reached IDR 69 million.
Head of Public Affairs Division of West Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Erdy A Chaniago said the joint officers has taken strict action since July 3.
“If accummulated, number of inspections have reached 10,484 (activities),” Head of Public Affairs Division of West Java Regional Police, Thursday (07/08/21).
A total of 44 thousand violators are subject to verbal reprimands. More than 6,000 violators are subject to written sanctions and 903 violators are charged with minor crimes.
Meanwhile, more than 60 business places are found not to follow Emergency PPKM. Strict action and sanctions are deliberately given to increase citizen discipline during Covid-19 pandemic.
Police urges people to stay at home if there is no any emergency situation.
