Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Welcoming 75th Bhayangkara Day, Indonesia National Police carried out simultaneous mass vaccinations throughout Indonesia to support the national vaccination campaign of 1 million doses per day.
Saturday (06/26), Indonesia National Police Headquarters organized mass vaccination simultaneouslu with all Regional Police as an acceleration of Chief of Indonesia National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, following the instructions of President of Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo regarding vaccination target.
The mass vaccination was held to increase community's herd immunity against Corona virus. Even so, Indonesia National Police urges the public to remain disciplined in following health protocols.
In the implementation of the mass vaccination which was held at Bhayangkara Field of Indonesia National Police Headquarters, President Joko Widodo directly monitored the activity. Accompanied by Chief of Indonesia National Police, Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces, Minister of Health and Head of Indonesia National Disaster Management (BNPB), President Joko Widodo monitored the stages and process of vaccination through virtual screen. He monitored the implementation of vaccinations at Regional Police and listened to direct reports related to the process and vaccination activity progress in each region.
On this occasion, President Joko Widodo expressed his gratitude to the Indonesia National Armed Forces-Indonesia National Police who successfully support mass vaccination as way to tackle Covid-19 pandemic.
"I would like to express my deepest gratitude for today's mass vaccination event which was carried out by all Regional Police, all Military Area Commands, and in collaboration with Regional Government," Jokowi said.
Indonesia National Police targets 1,348,298 doses of vaccine for the people of Indonesia in one day.
