Welcoming the 75th Bhayangkara Day, which falls on July 1, 2021, as well as the 69th anniversary of the HKGB (Bhayangkari Movement Unity Day) and the 73rd Anniversary of Policewomen, North Sulawesi Regional Police together with Bhayangkari organized social service, by distributing nine-basic-needs (sembako) and masks to people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly for underprivileged people. The event was held symbolically at the North Sulawesi Regional Police Headquarter yard, Friday (06/25/2021).
Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police, Inspector General Nana Sujana, Deputy Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Rudi Darmoko, Chairperson of North Sulawesi Bhayangkara Ny. Shinta Nana Sudjana, High-Rank Officers and administrators of South Sulawesi Bhayangkari and Regional Police.
Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police said the simultaneous social service activities carried out were manifestation of Police’s concern on the people who were affected by Covid-19 pandemic. 5,050 packages of nine-basic-needs assistance and 28,500 pieces of mask were distributed.
"The package was distributed to road cleaners, conventional motorcycle taxi drivers, public transport drivers, wagon coaches, parking attendants and other people in need," Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police added.
“Indonesia National Police must be present in the midst of society, especially as it is now, we are still facing Covid-19 pandemic. We have to keep doing good for the transformation of the Presisi Police," the former Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police concluded.
After the symbolic handover of the aid packages and witnessing the delivery of nine-basic-needs in Jakarta via the video conference channel, Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police accompanied by Chairperson of Bhayangkari released the entourage who brought the package of nine-basic-needs and masks.
