Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Approaching the 75th Bhayangkara anniversary on July 1, Indonesian National Police, under the leadership of Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, conducted a mass and simultaneous Covid-19 vaccination event, targeting one million people per day.
The programme was started on Saturday, June 26, 2021, on all Regional Police across the nation. Based on the observation of Presisi Covid-19 Vaccination Dashboard last night, 1,285,460 people have been vaccinated.
In response to this achievement, Deputy Chairman of the 3rd Commission of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Ahmad Sahroni, delivered his appreciation. According to Sahroni, this activity shows the Police's seriousness in assisting the government in ending the Covid-19 pandemic, which negatively affected many sectors.
"Ability on vaccinating one million people in a day is an extraordinary achievement by the Chief of Police. This shows the hard work conducted by all personnel of the Bhayangkara corps in accelerating Covid-19 handling, and they took a crucial role in handling the pandemic", the Deputy Chairman of the 3rd Commission of the Indonesian House of Representatives said on Sunday (27/6/2021).
Besides, he also appreciates utilising dashboard technology in this mass vaccination process so people could monitor the progress of the vaccination programme in each Chief of Regional Police in real-time.
"Each Regional Police departments also has this dashboard that we can observe real-time, so we could know how many vaccines have distributed to the public. Besides, we also can observe which province has the lowest and highest vaccination percentage. These efforts are in accordance with the theme of this year's Bhayangkara anniversary: A Presisi Transformation of the Indonesian National Police", Sahroni said.
