Tribratnews.polri.go.id – Jakarta.To date, 42 videos of YouTuber Muhammad Kece which are considered controversial have been blocked by the Police together with Minister of Information and Communication. Head of General Information from the National Police Public Relations Division, Pol. Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan, explained that currently there are 38 other videos that are being processed to be blocked. The reason is, the Police together with Minister of Information and Communication submitted 400 videos related to Muhammad Kece to be blocked.
"In the process of handling: 38 videos," explained the Head of General Information from the National Police Public Relations Division.
Previously, the National Police collaborated with Minister of Information and Communication to take down YouTuber Muhammad Kece's videos which were considered controversial. There are about 400 videos related to Muhammad Kece that were submitted to YouTube for take down after analysis.
"The video (MK) has the potential to cause divisive noise. Then an analysis is carried out, verification is carried out for a take down. Those who do the take down are under the authority of Minister of Information and Communication. Minister of Information and Communication submits a request to YouTube. Of course, this must receive an answer from YouTube," explained the Head of General Information From The National Police Public Relation Division.
The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police's Public Relation Division revealed that of the 400 videos submitted for take down, 20 of them have been approved by YouTube. The application for blocking has been made since Sunday (08/22).
