Mobile Brigade Medical Unit Came Directly to Refugee Post to Provide Medical Attention

Health services from the Police Mobile Brigade were given continuously to Cianjur earthquake refugees at each command post. Health services are provided to provide medical assistance to refugees without having to go to the hospital. In this health service, they visited the Cianjur earthquake victim evacuation post in Panyaweuyan Village, Ciherang Village, Pacet District.

Head of Police Public Relations Division Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, stated that many refugees were lining up to get medical services when the medical unit arrived. Because in addition to health services, medicines are also provided free of charge.

“They are lining up to get medical services. This is a sign that they really need medical treatment. To receive medical service, it is difficult for them due to the terrains or long distances. Therefore, we took the initiation to came directly to the refugee post to provide them with health services," explained the Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police in an official statement, Saturday (26/11/22).

The medical unit was led by Iptu Haikal as a doctor from the Mobile Brigade Corps medical team. In each of their visit, 10 personnel are deployed to provide medical services. With the method of coming directly to the refugees, it would significantly help the victims who are unable to go to the nearest medical centers.

“Most of the patients are the elders, women, and children,” said Inspector General Dedi.
