The Indonesian National Police Held Training for 2,284 People to Become Covid-19 Tracers

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Security National Agency (Baharkam) of Indonesia National Police held training for 2,284 people to become Covid-19 or the corona virus tracers. This activity will be carried out from June 29 to July 1, 2021.

Head of Public Affairs Division of Indonesia National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, mentioned training was carried out for Indonesia National Police personnels and elements of the community who are police partners.



"The participants were 2,284 people, with details of 530 Senkom Volunteers, 270 NCOs of Metro Jaya Regional Police (PMJ), 552 NCOs of Lido State Police School (SPN), 539 NCOs of West Java SPN, 192 NCOs of Banten SPN, and 201 NCOs of Central Java SPN," Argo said in his written statement, Jakarta , Tuesday (06/29/2021).

According to Argo, training for thousands of people as tracers is form of responsibility and obligation of all Bhayangkara Corps personnels to the community in carrying out their duties in the midst of Covid-19 Pandemic.

"It’s form of charity and our responsibility to the community. Especially as member of Indonesia National Police, it is our obligation to carry out this," Argo said.




Argo emphasized police must be able to work professionally and understand their duties as tracers. In addition, Argo advised his staff to take care of themselves while on duty.

"[I hope you my] colleagues to fully understand what must be done. The first is to take care of ourselves, then open our eyes and ears, and record anyone who is confirmed positive, don't be passive," Argo said.

Argo also expressed his appreciation to the community as police partner for willing to participate and play an active role as tracer.

"Always take right and proactive steps but keep maintaining health protocols," Argo concluded.
