The Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and the Commander of Indonesian National Armed Forces, Marshal of Indonesian National Armed Forces Hadi Tjahjanto chaired a meeting with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Bali, Sunday (28/8/21).
On this occasion, the Chief of Indonesian National Police conveyed to Bali's Regional Leadership Coordination Forum to strengthen the implementation of strategies in controlling Covid-19. The Chief of the Indonesian National Police shared this to ensure the public health and impact the people's economic activities in Bali.
"With maintained public health, economic growth in Bali will also grow," said the Chief of the Indonesian National Police.
The Chief of the Indonesian National Police conveyed that the Covid-19 control strategy was divided into three, including strict health protocols by implementing 3M (wearing masks, washing hands and maintaining distance) and strengthening 3T (Tracing, Testing and Treatment) as well as accelerating mass vaccination programs.
On this occasion, the Chief of the Indonesian National Police also conveyed to the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Bali to synergize with all elements of society and use a traditional approach through traditional leaders to invite residents who have been exposed to Covid-19 to be quarantined in Centralized Isolation (Isoter), which is currently very good in Bali. Furthermore, the Chief of Indonesian National Police conveyed that the recovery rate in Isoter was higher because it was supported by facilities and was fully and directly supervised by health workers.
“Efforts to shift Self Isolation (Isoman) to Centralized Isolation (Isoter) need to be carried out optimally with the assistance of the Regional Government (Pemda), all community leaders, traditional leaders. And it needs a good explanation by adjusting local customs that can provide peace to the community when they invite to Isoter," said the Chief of the Indonesian National Police.
