Targeting 100 thousand vaccinations, East Java Regional Police Opened Presisi Outlets at Resort and Sector Police

Tribratanews.polri.go.id. – Surabaya. East Java Regional Police opened vaccine outlets in all Resort Police and Sector Police in East Java. In this easternmost province, mass vaccination is targeted to reach 100 thousands.

Head of Public Affairs of East Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko said the vaccination is one of the efforts to help accelerating vaccination for community. To support the mass vaccination, East Java Regional Police advised Resort and Sector Police to open vaccination outlets.

"We hope community keeps supporting us until the Covid-19 vaccination program is completed. We also open Presisi Outlet that can be used for people who have not been vaccinated," he explained.

In the ranks of East Java Regional Police itself, the target is 117,478 thousand vaccines. To speed up the distribution, vaccination booths are opened at the Sector Police, Resort Police and Military Sub-District Command (Koramil) as well as Military District Command (Kodim). These outlets will be guarded by members of the Indonesia National Armed Forces and Indonesia National Polices.

"We thank you for the support and people encouragement who participated in vaccination," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Rifa'i, one of Surabaya Resident who received the vaccine, said he felt very grateful to be able to participate in this program. He had been waiting for the program held by East Java Regional Police.

"I participated in the vaccine at Kenjeran Park. I am very happy and grateful for the mass vaccine," he said.

He said he followed the vaccine program after being informed by one of the volunteer. At the time of the vaccine, he invited about 180 people, including his family.

"I was told by volunteers that there was free mass vaccine. At that time I brought 180 people," he explained.

Rifai hopes this program can be held again in the future. He also expressed his gratitude to Chief of East Java Regional Police and his staff for having concern on East Java people.
