Talk to Farmers to Realize Food Security in the Community Activity Restrictions Period

In order to support food security during the Community Activity Restrictions as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Public Order and Security Agency Village Head of Anotaurei District, Yapen Islands Police Brigadier Melianus R. Yowei provided assistance to Mr. Samuel Kayai, a resident who works as a farmer.
This assistance is an activity of Binmas Noken in the Cassowary (Welfare for State Children) program in agriculture and plantations.
In the midst of this assistance, Chief Police Brigadier Melianus R. Yowei also directly helped the farmer to take care of the vegetables and tomatoes that were planted while providing an explanation of how to care for the plants properly and correctly to produce a good quality crop.
Of course, how to prepare the soil, plant seeds, care for the plants to how to harvest a good process so that it can produce more yields, said Police Security and Public Agency.
He also said that the National Police would continue to support the farming community in order to increase their business in the agricultural sector with the aim of improving the community's economy during the corona outbreak pandemic and even providing support for plant seeds.
Mr. Samuel Kayai expressed his gratitude to Police Security and Public Agency for being willing to continue to assist him in providing various innovations in agriculture because he considers this to be very beneficial for improving his agriculture and even economic income. (HPY)
