Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Serang. On the day ninth of the Emergency PPKM (Public Activity Restriction Enforcement) in Banten province, Banten Regional Police with 064/MY Military Resort Command and Regional Leader Communication Forum held a Large-scale Patrol on Sunday (11/07/2021).
As information, Banten is one of seven provinces included in the Emergency PPKM list, which in effect from July 3 to 20. Therefore, extraordinary measures must be taken by all regional government apparatus, Armed Forces, Police, and other stakeholders.
Director of Water and Air Police of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Rustam Mansur, lead the event, accompanied by Director of Traffic of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Rudi Purnomo; Director of Community Development of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Riki Yanuarfi; Directorate of Quick Response Unit of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Noerwiyanto; and Chief of PR and Press Division of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Edy Sumardi, and also accompanied by representatives from 064/MY Military Resort Command, 320 Badak Putih Infantry Battalion, Serang Military Police Detachment, Head of Banten Transport Agency, and Banten Municipal Police.
Director of Water and Air Police of Banten Regional Police said that Police supports government's policies in accelerating Covid-19 handling through many activities such as this patrol event with the Armed Forces and Regional Leader Communication Forum.
"The large-scale operation tonight is conducted by 195 joint personnel: 81 from Banten Regional Police and Mobile Brigade Unit of Banten Regional Police, 50 from the 320 Badak Putih Infantry Battalion, 53 from Banten Municipal Police, and 11 from Banten Transport Agency", Director of Water and Air Police of Banten Regional Police said.
The Director of Water and Air Police explains that tonight's operation area is divided into four regions. Four groups and four teams in which the concentration is on the suburban area to the Cikande border. Patrol will be started from Banten Regional Police Headquarter.
The Director of the Water and Air Police of Banten Regional Police also explained that the violators of the Emergency PPKM regulation would be punished severely.
