Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police Chief Distributes Government Aid to Residents

In accordance with the instructions of the Indonesian Army Commander and National Police Chief for all Indonesian Army- Indonesian National Police ranks in the region regarding the acceleration of distribution of emergency PPKM (Community Activities Restrictions) social assistance (bansos) to the community.
Especially for people whose economic has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police Inspector General Pol. Yan Sultra I, responded to the Chief of Indonesian Police's instructions and immediately went down to provide emergency PPKM Social Assistance to people in need.
After providing social assistance to the community in the Korumba Village and Kelurahan Village, the Chief of Regional Police accompanied by the High-rank executives from the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police then provided assistance in the scavenger settlements.
"There are hundred packages that we provide and hopefully the assistance will ease the burden on the community in the midst of the corona virus pandemic as it is today," hoped the Regional Police Chief.
The Regional Police Chief also hopes that assistance from the government through Indonesian Army- Indonesian National Police personnel can be put to good use. So that people do not need to leave their homes during an emergency PPKM.
“There is assistance from the government which was delivered by the Indonesian Army and Indonesian Police. Please accept, hopefully can be used to the fullest. We urge you not to go anywhere during an emergency PPKM," the Regional Police Chief appealed.
