South Tangerang Police Distributes 20 Tons of Basic Food to Self-isolate Residents

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the community's economy. To help ease the burden on the community, the South Tangerang Police have provided assistance to the affected communities.

With this distribution of basic food assistance, it is hoped that it can ease the burden on people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, said South Tangerang Police Chief, Pol. Grand Commissioner Iman Imanuddin, Sunday (07/11/2021).

The assistance in the form of 20 tons of basic food items was distributed to communities affected by restrictions on emergency community activity restrictions of activities to residents who carried out self-isolation (isoman). "Targets: 1. Residents who are self-isolating, 2. Residents who are affected due to restrictions on emergency community activity restrictions activities, 3. Residents of underprivileged communities in densely populated areas," explained the Police Chief. The food items were distributed by the South Tangerang Police in the last few days. The 20 tons were divided into 4,000 packages, each weighing 5 kg.

The assistance is channeled directly to the community or through micro community activity restriction officers at the sub-district and village levels.
