Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Pekanbaru. Helping the availability of oxygen for Covid-19 patients in Jakarta, Riau Regional Police carried out strict supervision on the shipment of 70 tons of oxygen to be sent from Riau.
Chief of Riau Regional Police, Police Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi, said Riau Regional Police deployed two units of escort vehicles and four police personnels.
"70 tons of oxygen was transported by 5 trucks, escorted by 2 units of the Highway Police (PJR) patrol vehicle of Traffic Corps Directorate of Riau Regional Police with 4 personnel," Chief of Riau Regional Police explained, Monday (07/12/21).
Chief of Riau Regional Police said the plan is to send 500 tons of oxygen to hospital under the Ministry of Health in Jakarta. Delivery is done in stages.
"This shipment is part of the total 500 tons of oxygen that will be delivered in stages," Chief of Riau Regional Police explained.
