Reducing People’s Mobility During Emergency PPKM, Yogyakarta Regional Police and Yogyakarta Regional Government Conduct Insulation at Twenty one Points

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Yogyakarta, To reduce community mobility, Yogyakarta Regional Police and Yogyakarta Regional Government conduct insulation during Emergency PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions).

The insulation will be implemented at 21 locations by Yogyakarta Regional Police until July 21, 2021.

“Insulation will be implemented at least at 21 locations and spread across districts/cities,” Head of Public Information Bureau Sub-Division of Yogyakarta Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Verena mentioned on his written statement, Thursday (07/08/21).

Below is the data of the insulated roads:

1. Sleman Regency, insulation will be implemented at six locations, i.e. Prambanan Post, Tempel, Gejayan, Kaliurang Street Post, Nologaten Depok Street dan under Janti flyover
2. Kulonprogo Regency, insulation will be implemented at two points, i.e. Temon area and Wates square
3. Bantul Regency, insulation will be implemented at two points, i.e. Srandakan post dan TPR post to Parangtritis
4. Gunungkidul Regency, insulation will be implemented at one point, i.e. Bunder Pathuk.
5. Yogyakarta City, insulation will be implemented at five points, i.e. insulation post of Teteg Malioboro, insulation post of Gejayan on mobile basis, Tugu Pal Putih post, aroung Cafe Legend Kridosono, dan Gardu Anim post.

“Five locations carried out by Regional Police are Karangnongko Kulon Progo Police Post, Mlati Sleman West Ringroad, Ledoksari Prambanan Sleman, Besole Gunungkidul Police Post, and Parangtritis Km 16 Street Patalan Bantul,” Head of Public Information Bureau Sub-Division of Yogyakarta Regional Police said.

In order to close the access to Yogyakarta city, dynamic insulation is also implemented on Afandi, Jombor, and Malioboro street.

Yogyakarta Regional Police also conducts vehicle inspections and take strict action to the implementation of health protocols as well as providing advices and conduct socialization on government policy.

In addition to insulation, number of public street lighting lamps (PJU) are also turned off at night in places where crowds usually occur.

Head of Public Information Bureau Sub-Division of Yogyakarta Regional Police said that police maximized security to anticipate crime at night.

Yogyakarta Regional Police urges the public to stay inside the house, reduce mobility, and raise public awareness to comply with the rules during Emergency PPKM.
