Quick Response Regarding Oxygen Scarcity, Riau Regional Police Directly Sent 17 Oxygen Cylinders to Indrasari Rengat Hospital

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Pekanbaru. Riau Police immediately delivered 17 oxygen cylinders to Indrasari Rengat Hospital, Indragiri Hulu Regency, which was experiencing oxygen scarcity.

"This is quick response as the need is urgent at Rengat Hospital, because 8 hours from now they will run out of oxygen cylinder. So our team with volunteers, today we immediately send and escort it. We hope before it runs out, the oxygen we have sent will be ready, arrived at the hospital," Chief of Riau Regional Police, Police Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi explained.

The two-star general said his party would continue to cooperate with Riau Covid-19 Care Volunteers to help areas and communities that need oxygen.

"We sent 17 tubes. We will also take the empty tubes there to fill them here later and then send them back there. We will continue to monitor the development of this oxygen demand together with volunteers, we work hand in hand, work together to help our people in need," Chief of Riau Regional Police explained.

Chief of Riau Regional Police said so far only Rengat Hospital has reported lack of oxygen. He said hospitals or people who needed oxygen could contact Riau Covid-19 Care Volunteers.

"For people who need oxygen, we convey it, it is here. Currently, there are still around 40 tubes left and can be served by Riau Covid-19 Care Volunteers," Chief of Riau Regional Police explained.
