President Jokowi Inspects Mass Vaccination Ahead of 75th Bhayangkara Day

JAKARTA—- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited the mass vaccination event at Bhayangkara Court of Indonesian National Police Headquarters in Jakarta, Saturday (26/6/2021).

President was accompanied by Chief of Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo; Commander of Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto; Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin; and Chief of National Disaster Management Authority, Lieutenant General Ganip Warsito.

During the visit, the president observed the steps towards one million Indonesians vaccinated in one day across Indonesian National Police to celebrate the 75th Bhayangkara anniversary and accelerate President Jokowi's order to vaccinate 1 million people per day.

Through the virtual screen, President Jokowi inspects vaccination efforts in all Regional Police such as Central Java Regional Police, which held the event simultaneously in 35 Departmental Police with 141,000 doses spread across 340 vaccination sites.

President Jokowi asked the vaccine total in Central Java to be doubled. President also asked the Covid-19 handling in Kudus, Central Java, which reported a positive trend.

Out of all mass vaccination event today, National Police targets 1,348,298 doses of vaccine would be injected into people's arms in one day.

Those doses are spread across provinces as follows: Aceh Regional Police with 28,884 doses in 335 sites; North Sumatra Regional Police with 65,750 doses in 193 sites; West Sumatra Regional Police with 25,109 doses in 124 sites; Riau Regional Police with 32,000 doses in 86 sites; Riau Islands Regional Police with 7,917 doses in 25 sites; Jambi Regional Police with 14,589 doses in 230 sites; South Sumatra Regional Police with 241,000 doses in 509 sites; and Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police with 4,375 doses in 46 sites.

Then at Bengkulu Regional Police with 14,793 doses in 156 sites; Lampung Regional Police with 33,198 doses in 85 sites; Banten Regional Police with 42,662 doses in 25 sites; Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police with 10,500 doses in 6 sites; West Java Regional Police with 178,643 in 832 sites; Central Java Regional Police with 141,043 doses in 340 sites; Yogyakarta Special Region Regional Police with 12,996 doses in 30 sites, and East Java Regional Police with 117,994 doses in 206 sites.

Next is Bali Regional Police with 12,500 doses in 10 sites; West Kalimantan Regional Police with 21,000 doses in 30 sites; South Kalimantan Regional Police with 18,396 doses in 183 sites; Central Kalimantan Regional Police with 11,117 doses in 17 sites; North Kalimantan Regional Police with 2,025 doses in 6 sites; South Sulawesi Regional Police with 39,044 doses in 290 sites; Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police with 13,375 doses in 235 sites; and Central Sulawesi with 13,350 doses in 21 sites.

And then in North Sulawesi Regional Police with 9,777 doses in 15 sites; West Sulawesi Regional Police with 5,312 doses in 67 sites; Gorontalo Regional Police with 4,298 doses in 7 sites; West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police with 152,385 doses in 229 sites; East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police with 27,796 doses in 138 sites; Maluku Regional Police with 8,622 doses in 22 sites; North Maluku Regional Police with 5,400 doses in 15 sites; Papua Regional Police with 15,579 doses in 85 sites, and West Papua Regional Police with 4,275 doses in 41 sites.
