Police: Hundreds of Thousands Vehicles Left Jakarta

Since 23-25 December 2022, hundreds of thousands of vehicles left DKI Jakarta during this year's Christmas holidays. The number of vehicles passing from Jakarta via Cikampek Toll Main Gate in the Trans Java direction has reached 149,453 vehicles. Meanwhile, 112,163 vehicles entered Jakarta through the Cikampek Toll Main Gate.

"Then, there are 121,814 vehicles leaving Jakarta through the Kalihurip Main Toll Gate towards Bandung. Meanwhile, 115,539 vehicles entered Jakarta via the Kalihurip Main Toll Gate. On the other hand, the volume of traffic leaving Jakarta through the Cikupa Toll Gate towards Merak are 144,376 vehicles. As for those entering Jakarta through the Cikupa Toll Gate, there were 133,990 vehicles," explained the spokesperson for the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Commissioner Ade Yaya Suryana, Monday (12/26).

The former Head of Public Relations of the East Kalimantan Regional Police said that the volume of traffic leaving Jakarta through the Ciawi Toll Gate towards Puncak are 114,642 vehicles. Meanwhile, 112,027 vehicles entered Jakarta through the Ciawi Toll Gate. For this reason, his party appealed to people who will be leaving for New Year's holiday to first ensure their health, and check their vehicles before traveling.
