In addition to assisting the evacuation process, the National Police also provided trauma healing to provide psychological assistance to the refugees. The children who were at the location seemed happy when the trauma healing police came to entertain them by having fun.
In this activity, the National Police invites local children to have fun, participate in various games, and tell stories to relieve the trauma due to the traumatic experience since the earthquake.
"Hopefully this trauma healing effort is able to encourage and accelerate psychological recovery for the victims, especially children," explained the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo.
In addition, the National Police also helped clean up the rubble of buildings that were destroyed by the earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 using makeshift equipment.
