Police, The Ministry, and ICITAP Provides Trauma Healing to Cianjur Refugees

Tribratanews.polri.go.id –  The Police Psychology Bureau, the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK), and the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) work together to help people affected by the earthquake in Cianjur.

One of their effort in helpin them is by holding trauma healing activities, especially for children who survived the Cianjur earthquake.

The Head of of Police Psychology Bureau, Brigadier General Kristiyono said that his party, together with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture and ICITAP expressed their concern and condolences for the refugees in Cianjur after the earthquake claimed many lives and destroyed their houses.

"We are here to help the people affected by this earthquake, especially the children, by providing trauma healing," explained Brigadier General Kristiyono at Bayabang Village Command Post, Tagalaga Village, Cugenang, Cianjur, West Java, Wednesday (11/30).

Meanwhile, the Deputy for Coordinating the Improvement of the Quality of Children, Women and Youth, Femmy Eka Kartika Putri said she was pleased with what the Police Psychology Bureau and the West Java Regional Police Psychology Post in healing the traumas of the refugees.

"We see that both children and their parents look happy with this trauma healing," she said.

She also welcomed the trauma healing and hoped that this activity would continue to be carried out so that the people affected by the earthquake could recover both physically and emotionally.
