Cianjur Earthquake Victims Received Aids from Trenggalek Police

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Trenggalek  Trenggalek Police sent a food supplies and other provisions through a truck to the earthquake victims in Cianjur.

“We sent our aids to help ease the suffering of our fellow Indonesians in Cianjurm,” said Trenggalek Police Chief, AKBP Alith Alarino.

The aids used social funds and donations from Trenggalek police and its Bhayangkari members. Assistance is given voluntarily in each unit from the Resort Police down to Sectoral Police levels.

“The aids include mineral water, instant noodles, rice, milk, blankets, cooking oil, masks, towels, medicines, vitamins and others. Hopefully this assistance can be useful and at the very least, ease the burden of the refugees," he says.

Based on the initial data, the earthquake cause damages to 56,320 houses, with 22,241 of them are having major damages, 11,641 are having mild damages, and 22,090 only having minor damages. Other public facilities were also affected by the earthquake, including 31 schools, 124 places of worship, three health facilities, and thirteen office buildings.
