Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia National Police has carried out 208 inverstigation activities through Aman Nusa II Operation during the Emergency PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions) period.
Head of General Information Section of Public Affairs Division of Indonesia National Police, Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan, said hundreds of investigations are targeted at drug stores, pharmacies, drug distribution sites, and oxygen distribution sites.
"Investigation activities are conducted to ensure drugs availability related to the handling of Covid-19, as well as checking the drugs sold do not exceed the highest retail price (HET) that has been determined by the government," Head of General Information Section of Public Affairs Division of Indonesia National Posaid through online press conference on Thursday, July 8, 2021.
In addition, Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan also said his party carried out 18 cases of investigation, 103 cases of minor crimes, and three cases that ended in restorative justice.
Aman Nusa II operation started when Emergency PPKM was carried out on July 3, 2021. This operation began after Chief of Indonesia National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo issued Telegram Letter (STR) numbered STR/577/VII/OPS.2./2021.
Head of Public Affairs Division of Indonesia National Police, Police Inspector General Argo Yuwono, said that Aman Nusa II operation is follow-up operation after previously being carried out. The difference with the previous operation is the previous operation had only five task forces, while in current operation there are seven task forces.
The seven task forces are Detection Task Force, Community Building (Binmas) Task Force, Health Protocol Compliance and Vaccination Security Task Force, health service aid (Bayankes) Task Force, Vaccine Guard Security Task Force, Law Enforcement Task Force, and Public Affairs Task Force.
