Metro Jaya Police Revealed Jakarta Would Celebrate New Year Eve in TMII

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Unlike last year where it usually celebrated in Hotel Indonesia Roundabout to Monas, the New Year Eve of Jakarta now will be held in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), says the Head of Metro Jaya Police Public Relations, Commissioner Endra Zulpan, according to the discussion of Cross Sectoral Coordination Meeting for Centralized Operation Lilin Jaya 2022, Jakarta, Monday (12/19).

“The forum has decided that for Jakarta, the New Year Eve would be celebrated in TMII. However, the celebrations could also be celebrated in other tourist destinations such as Ancol, Kota Tua, Pantai Indah Kapuk, Setu Babakan, and also Monas and Hotel Indonesia Roundabout,” says Commissioner Zulpan.

He explains that his parties, along with the Regional Military Command of Jakarta, will deployed their personnel to secure 2022’s last holidays in Jakarta and its surroundings. In their security operation, police have prepared more than 7,000 personnel. Moreover, there will be 97 security posts and 38 service posts scattered around Jakarta.

“Not only that, we will also secure thousands of churches that will celebrate Christmas this year. We have listed that there will be 1,385 churches in Jakarta that we have to secure, assisted by our colleagues from the Military, local government, and the surrounding community,” concluded the police officials.
