The ranks of West Java Police have prepared 26,000 personnel to secure Christmas and New Year Eve in their region. Those thousands of personnel are consist of 15,000 personnel from the police, 2,400 personnel from the military army, and 7,800 from related parties.
The Head Ops of West Java Police, Commissioner Stephen M Napiun says that the personnel would later be dispatched to security posts, service posts, to integrated posts.
“There are a lot of locations that we have to secure. There could be thousands if we alos securing shortcuts. But nonetheless, we will do our best in securing it,” says Head Ops of West Java Police, quoted from medcom.id, Wednesday (12/21).
Commissioner Stephen M Napiun explained that his parties have prepared six task forces that will be deployed in several sectors, starting from tourist destinations to locations prone to disaster.
“All of it have become part of our attention, including the extreme weather that would greatly affect the holidays. Thus, we also remind you to also pay attention to the government information related to Christmas and New Year Eve security operations,” concluded Commissioner Stephen.
