Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The government continues to tighten community mobilization by implementing Emergency PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions) until July 20, 2021.
Traffic Corps of Indonesia National Police continues to expand mobility restrictions by increasing the number of insulation posts at 1,038 points spread from Lampung, Java to Bali.
"Today insulation points have increased again to 1,038 points," Head of Traffic Corps of Indonesia National Police, Police Inspector General Istiono, explained Thursday (07/16/2021).
The two-star general explained the reason for adding insulation points for the Police to optimize restrictions of people's movement, especially during the emergency PPKM period along with the 2021 Eid al-Adha celebration.
"This addition is more as a way to limit, because only essential and critical sectors can operate during emergency PPKM," Head of Traffic Corps of Indonesia National Police explained.
Meanwhile, Head of Operation of Traffic Corps of Indonesia National Police, Police Grand Commissioner Rudi Antariksawan explained 1,038 emergency PPKM insulations points have been prepared ahead of Eid al-Adha 1442 H, with details of 86 insulation posts located on toll roads, seven insulation posts located at ports, and 945 insulations posts located on non-toll roads.
According to him, insulated areas are mostly located in West Java, which are 353 points, consisting of 21 points on toll roads and 332 points on non-toll roads. Furthermore, in the Central Java region there are 271 insulation points and 209 insulation points in East Java.
"Banten is a province with the fewest insulation points this time, there are only 20 insulation points," Head of Operation Section of Traffic Corps of Indonesia National Police explained.
Indonesia National Police will implement tighter restrictions on community mobility during 2021 Eid al-Adha to prevent the transmission of Covid-19.
The insulation is carried out to prevent the increase in community mobility at a time when the rate of Covid-19 cases is still quite high. Therefore, the public is asked to understand the provisions that apply during the emergency PPKM. Besides essential and critical sectors, it is expected community will not carry out the activity if it is not urgent.
Below are 1,038 insulation points of Emergency PPKM and security preparation for 2012 Eid al Adha:
1. Lampung: 21 locations (2 locations on toll road, 17 locations on non-toll road, 2 locations at port)
2. Banten: 20 locations (2 locations on toll, 17 locations on the non-toll road, 1 location at port)
3. Greater Jakarta Metropolitan: 100 locations (15 locations on toll, 85 locations on non-toll)
4. West Java: 353 locations (21 locations on toll, 332 locations on non-toll)
5. Yogyakarta: 23 locations (all non-tolls)
6. Central Java: 271 locations (27 locations on toll, 244 locations on non-toll)
7. East Java: 209 locations (19 locations on toll, 189 locations on non-toll, 1 locations at port)
8. Bali: 41 locations (38 locations on non-toll, 3 locations at port).
