Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Medan. Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police, Police Inspector General Panca Putra, has instructed all Departmental and Sectoral Police personnel to open Presisi vaccination booths to facilitate the Covid-19 vaccine to the unvaccinated people.
During the occasion, Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police through Chief of PR and Press Division of North Sumatra Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi, stated that Departmental and Sectoral Police personnel have followed up the building of the vaccination booths.
"North Sumatra Regional Police, as a follow-up the instruction from the Chief of Police, has build 41 booths consist of 23 booths at Departmental Police, 17 booths at Sectoral Police, and one booth at a health facility with 3,039 people have been jabbed", Chief of PR and Press Division said on Tuesday (06/07/2021).
The Presisi booths are free for all people who want to have the Covid-19 vaccine.
Besides, the Former Deputy Director of Traffic Police Corps of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police said that the Presisi vaccination booth also catered for all people with no domicile requirements. In other words, people who reside at any address or according to the National ID Card are welcomed to go to the nearest Police station.
"People are welcome for those who are not vaccinated yet. Just bring your National ID Card; any origin of the ID is welcomed here", Police Grand Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi said.
Chief of PR and Press Division explained that the Presisi vaccination booths are established to maintain the ability to vaccinate one million people per day to achieve herd immunity. North Sumatra Regional Police has launched the programme on June 26, 2021, commemorates 75th Bhayangkara Day, and still continues today.
"These Presisi vaccination booths are an effort from the Police to maintain the ability to vaccinate one million people per day and increase it to the next target", he concluded.
