Currently, the Covid-19 case in North Sumatra is increasing. Police together with joint officers took several steps, such as legal operations and raise community awareness to prevent Covid-19 spread. For private sectors, they need to obey health protocols to prevent Covid-19 infection.
"Another step is to accelerate vaccination, which targets 9.4 million people until the completion of the vaccination process in North Sumatera. We will reach the target of 2 million per day in August. Therefore, we have to work hard to achieve 2 million people. I hope this vaccination could reduce the spread of Coronavirus in North Sumatera. Besides vaccination, police also continue to carry out judicial operations to enforce health protocols," Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police added.
"It is hoped through the implementation of the judicial operation, it can increase public awareness and public understanding that self-preservation is main requirement to prevent Covid-19 spread. Business actors must also be able to implement health protocols. Thank you to religious groups, mass organizations and others who have been willing to be part of the vaccinator," North Sumatera Regional Police concluded.
