North Sulawesi Regional Police Prepares 20 Presisi Vaccine Outlets

Tribratanews.polri.go.id- Manado. North Sulawesi Regional Police and its ranks have prepared 20 Presisi Vaccine Outlets. The outlets are opened everyday.

"For vaccinations carried out Indonesia National Police, Presisi Vaccine Outlets have been set up starting from Regional Police level to all Resort Police. There are total of 20 outlets," Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nana Sudjana said while reviewing mass vaccinations at Presisi Vaccine Outlet, Tuesday (06/07/2021).

He added the daily target is 1,955 people being vaccinated. Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police invites public to actively participate in the vaccination.

"Based on the observations so far, people in North Sulawesi people positively respond, and we appreciate it," he said.

"It is conducted to follow up on president's instructions that every day one million people must be vaccinated," he said.

From the national target of one million people, for North Sulawesi, the target is ten thousand people vaccinated in a day, Chief of North Sulawesi Police mentioned.

"Vaccination is carried out jointly by the Indonesia National Armed Forces, Indonesia National Police, and Regional Government, in this case Health Agency," he said.

Regarding the start of vaccination for teenagers aged 12 to 17 years old, Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police asked young people not to be afraid of being vaccinated. "This is for the sake of achieving group immunity, in order to suppress the spread of the corona virus," he said.

Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police added, besides vaccination, other efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 are also being intensified, such as judicial operations and socialization of health protocols and micro-based PPKM (Community activity restriction) that are jointly carried out by the Indonesia National Armed Forces, Indonesia National Police, and local governments.

"To the public, including those who have been vaccinated, must continue to comply with health protocols by wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, reducing mobility, and increasing immunity," he said.

During the mass vaccination monitoring which was carried out at Manado Regional Police Headquarter, Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police saw at firsthand the stages of vaccination. Starting from registration, checking health conditions, injecting vaccines to observation, and also having dialogue with the community and vaccinators.
