Just like the one conducted on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 08.30. Police Inspector 1st Class Joni Linggi, Police Chief Brigadier Soleman F, Police Chief Brigadier I Gusti Komang Jaya, Police Brigadier Maikel E Korwa (Community Police Unit), and Police Brigadier 2nd Class Restu A (Community Police Unit) inspected and visited the refugees of Yali tribe.
Once arrived, the Binmas Noken team was warmly welcomed by the chieftain of the Yali tribe, Mr Epenius Amohoso, and the community of the Yali tribe still taking refuge in the Gidi Evanhastia Church Dekai.
During the visit, the Binmas Noken team and the Community Development Unit advised the community to stay calm because the security forces of Armed Forces-Police, in cooperation with the regional government of Yahukimo regency and community figures to create a safe, peaceful, and prosperous situation, in accordance with the slogan of Yahukimo regency.
Police Inspector 1st Class Joni Linggi also informed them not to be provoked by unreliable issues and always implement Health Protocols to suppress Covid-19 transmission.
One of the residents, the chieftain of the Yali tribe, Mr Epenius Amohoso, asked the Binmas Noken Task Force team related to the burning of people's houses during the incident on October 3, 2021. They lost some valuable documents such as family cards, National IDs, birth certificates, and education certificates.
The Binmas Noken Task Force team addressed the solution for the Yali tribe, related to the administration of valuable documents such as National ID cards, family cards, education certificates, and birth certificates. They asked the chieftain to collect the name of people whose documents are burned to the Binmas Noken, in which the team, together with the chieftain, will take care of it in the command post. Regarding the said solution, the chieftain of the Yali tribe and the people said thank you. They also thanked the health facilities and the presence of Binmas Noken. People who are ill and under the weather are advised not to hesitate to report the refugee command post because there is always be health team that always serves the Yali tribe in the refugee command post for further inspection.
