National Police's Chairman of Community Development Corps Conducts a Visit to a Special Lung Hospital in Karawang and Trials the SILACAK Application

Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan, together with a group from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment (Marvest) and the Indonesian Ministry of Health visited the Jatisari Special Pulmonary Hospital, Karawang, Friday (07/30/2021).

In addition to visiting and reviewing the Special Lung Hospital, located in Jatisari District, Karawang Regency, the group consisting of the Coordinator of the Security Maintenance Agency of Indonesian National Police, the Ministry of Marvest and the Indonesian Ministry of Health also carried out a trial of the SILACAK application issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health.

As is known, the SILACAK application is a tracking information system for Covid-19 Tracers, which is expected to support Testing, Tracing and Treatment (3T) activities, with the aim of accelerating efforts to prevent and control Covid-19.

The activity started with a visit to the Special Lung Hospital and then continued to the Jatisari Health Center to carry out a trial of the SILACAK application, with direct targets as Tracers, namely Village Advisory Officer and Community Police Officer and Police Youth (Steel) Police as implementers of Digital Tracers, in addition to involving Community Health Center Surveillance officers as processing officers. data.

Karawang Police Chief West Java Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Rama Samtama Putra accompanied by Military District Command 0604 Karawang and Karawang Deputy Chief of Police Commissioner Ahmad Faisal Pasaribu who also accompanied and monitored the SILACAK application trial activity, said that tracing is part of the 3T effort, completing the Testing and Treatment carried out by the government as part of handling Covid-19.

"Tracing is part of the 3T effort, complementing the Testing and Treatment carried out by the government for handling Covid-19," explained the Karawang Regional Police Chief.

The Karawang Regional Police Chief also said that the presence of a Tracer made it easier for Community Health Center officers to monitor people who had a history of close contact with patients who were confirmed to be Covid-19.

"With the tracer, it is easier for puskesmas officers to monitor people who have been in close contact with patients who have confirmed Covid-19," explained the Karawang Regional Police Chief.
