West Java Police Will Deploy Thousands of Personnel to Secure Vital Objects During Christmas

In securing the December Holidays, West Java Police prepared 26,000 personnel consisted of police members, military army, and related parties that will be dispatched to vital objects, such as churches, terminals, to tourist destinations.

The Head of West Java Police Public Relations, Commissioenr Ibrahim Tompo says that there are 1,210 churches that they will secure. Moreover, there are 334 places of worship, 598 tourist destinations, 60 terminals, and 138 malls.

“Then there are three airports, and 1,239 community gathering places. Then there are stations, bus stops, and others which is 66 location points. While for the ports, there are two locations,” says the Head of Public Relations of West Java, Wednesday (12/21).

He says there are also 216 security posts, 23 integrated posts, and 87 service posts. The police have also prepared hundreds of security armadas, either bike, cars, helicopters, to K9 Bloodhounds.

“The measure that we will use is preventive, pre-emptive, and represive, and will operate in traffic areas. In toll roads, we have also prepared one-way and contra flow system. All of our strategies will be employed considering the situation in the field,” says the Head of Public Relations.
