Head of the Medical and Health Center of Indonesian National Police, Police Brigadier General Rusdianto opened online socialization with the theme 'Community Based Intervention Rehabilitation Program and Its Development for the Head of Sub Division of Police Medicine (Kasubbiddokpol).
The socialization was carried out with an online system, not only attended by the Kasubbiddokpol from 34 Regional Police throughout Indonesia, National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB) representatives and two people from National Narcotics Agency (BNN) representatives of the Regency / City organizing Lubuk Linggau Regency and Pagar Alam Regency, as well as the Head of the local Bhayangkara Hospital.
The Medical and Health Center of the Indonesian National Police establishes a Recovery Agent in developing the Community Based Intervention (IBM) rehabilitation program to realize the Shining Village (Desa Bersinar) or free from drugs. However, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, drug problems and handling abuse and drug addicts victims remain an essential priority.
"The Medical and Health Center of Indonesian National Police plays an active role by providing rehabilitation services for abuse and drug addicts victims. The Head of the Medical and Health Center of Indonesian National Police hopes that in the future the Head of Sub Division of Police Medicine (Kasubbiddokpol) will coordinate with the Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) and District National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) for the Rehabilitation Sector regarding training activities for Health Stars, especially those at the Medicine and Health of Departemental Police, as well as supporting the functions of Community Police Officers (Bhabinkamtibmas) and Drug Detective (Resnarkoba) in the Anti-Drugs Tanggu Village Activity Program and the Shining Village (Desa Bersinar).
At least, for the pilot project to be implemented at the Field of Medicine and Health of the South Sumatra Regional Police, in collaboration with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Lubuklinggau Regency, South Sumatra (there are three regencies/cities, namely Mura, Muratara and Lubuk Linggau) and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Pagaralam City.
