Tribratanews.polri.go.id. - Kupang. In the framework of the 75th Bhayangkara Day, the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police held a simultaneous vaccination. This mass vaccination is carried out in two ways, namely by drive thru and regular queues at the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Headquarter.
Welcoming the 75th anniversary of Bhayangkara, we will be present in the context of the one million vaccine activity in accordance with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. That's why today we are carrying out a vaccination campaign in the East Nusa Tenggara area, explained the East Bysa Tenggara Regional Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Lotharia Latif, on the sidelines of monitoring mass vaccinations accompanied by Danrem 161 /Wira Sakti Kupang, Brigadier General Legowo, as well as a number of other Indonesian Army officials in Kupang.
Inspector General Lotharia said the target for mass vaccination campaigns in East Nusa Tenggara was 25,000 peoples. However, according to the latest data, the number of people vaccinated today exceeded the target set at 27,187 peoples.
"Our target is 25,000 vaccines in the jurisdiction of the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police which are spread over 125 points. At the location of the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, 2000 people were recorded. The number of vaccinators involved in this mass vaccination campaign consisted of 97 people from the National Police, 10 from the National Armed Forces and 15 from the Health Service. However, according to the latest data, the number of people vaccinated today exceeded the target, which was 27,187 peoples," explained the Regional Police Chief.
Furthermore, the Regional Police Chief also appealed to jointly maintain this East Nusa Tenggara by continuing to implement the 5M and 3T health protocols and the Micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities policy.
"Let's continue to encourage the implementation of the Covid-19 health protocol in the family environment, work environment, community environment ranging from children to the elderly," concluded the Chief of Regional Police.
