Manifestation of Indonesia National Police’s Care, Banten Regional Police Distributed One Thousand rice box to Orphanages and Islamic Boarding Schools

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Serang. Directorate of Community Building and Public Affairs Division of Banten Regional Police carried out social services by distributing assistance of 1,000 rice boxes to orphanages, community and students of Islamic boarding schools.

This social service was carried out at Baiturrahman Orphanage, Daarul Hamid Banten Tahfiz Islamic Boarding School, Mudzakaroh Muhtadi Cidahu Banten Boarding School, Bhayangkara Home, Roidlotul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Raudhatul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Nurul Islam Islamic Boarding School, Baitul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, and An-Nur Islamic Boarding School.

Head of Public Affairs of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Edy Sumardi said this social service activity conducted in the midst of Emergency PPKM (Community Restriction Activity) was manifestation of Indonesia National Police’s concern on community affected by Covid-19 Pandemic that has caused serious impacts on community's economy.

"We are here because we have concern. We emphatize and build closed relationship to community affected by Covid-19. Police is present to help community relieve," Head of Public Affairs of Banten Regional Police explained.

He said it is expected the social service activities bring benefit to orphaned children and Islamic boarding students who received them.

"I hope the assistance we provided brings benefit to orphans and students of Islamic boarding school," Head of Public Affairs of Banten Regional Police explained.

Head of Public Affairs of Banten Regional Police also advised people to maintain public security and order and always implementing health protocols.

"To prevent Covid-19, let's work together to always be disciplined in following health protocols in accordance with the 5 M, wearing mask, washing hands with soap or Handsanitizer frequently, implementing physical distancing or keeping the distance from other people, not mobilizing masses and avoid crowds,” Head of Public Affairs of Banten Regional Police explained.
