Dozens of orphans and orphans abandoned by their parents due to Covid-19 were entertained by magic games at a psychosocial support event for children held by the Lampung Regional Police. The event 'Psychosocial Support for Children Affected by Covid-19 in 2021' with the theme 'Caring for Children, Resilient Indonesia' was held simultaneously throughout Indonesia, attended by 2,333 orphans and children with disabilities.
The event was opened by the Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector-General Hendro Sugiatno was attended by the Deputy Chief of Police, Brigadier General Pol. subiyanto and the principal police officer on Hurun Island Beach, Pesawaran Regency. There were no gloomy faces, and all the children seemed happy to be treated to a magic game from Sadad Magic Bandarlampung and some clowns dressed as funny police uniform replicas.
In addition to magic games, children also received psychological assistance from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of Lampung Regional Police by watching films about Covid-19, Cartoon Avenger, and Police Movie in a Rechercher dan Mobile that was transformed into a cinema car.
Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad said this event was intended to entertain children affected by Covid-19.
