This was conveyed by the National Police Chief General of Police, Listyo Sigit Prabowo, after holding the Tactical Floor Game (TFG) which was directly attended by President Joko Widodo, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, Minister of Defense, and the Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces, at the Kepaon Prajaraksaka Gymnasium, Denpasar, Bali, Wednesday (9/11/22). ).
This Four-Star General ensures that all activities of the G20 Summit become the main focus of police's security, starting from arrival, accommodation, to shifting from venue to venue.
"Everything has been prepared and scheduled. So everything must have been well prepared, both in terms of routes, escorts, and conditions in each area," said the National Police Chief.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian Army Commander General Andika Perkasa stated similar similar statements as they have also prepared reserve troops to ensure the security when worst case scenarion happened.
"If there are changes beyond what we have prepared, we will definitely act on it," he added.
On the same occasion, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan appreciated the preparation of the army and the police in securing the G20 Summit in Bali as it shows integrated cohesiveness.
" This also sends a message to anyone that our security personnel is ready to face anything," said Luhut.
Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto also conveyed the same thing, saying that the security forces must be rewarded for their dedication to ensuring the G20 Summit runs safely, smoothly and without interruption, so that Indonesia is ready to welcome its important guests.
"I would like to express my appreciation to the Army, Police, State Intelligence Service, and all elements who have prepared their extraordinary preparations. We are optimistic, we are ready, this is a big moment for our country. This is a great honor for our nation. I hope all the people will participate in securing it," Prabowo concluded.
