Russian Embassy Sends Their Aids to Cianjur Through Indonesian Red Cross

The Russian Embassy in Jakarta have sent their aids to the victims of the earthquake that hit Cianjur, West Java, through the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).

"From our staff at the Embassy, we decided to send our humanitarian assistance to the victims and families of the victims of the earthquake that recently occurred in Cianjur," said Russian Ambassador Lyudmila Vorobieva.

The Russian Embassy provided logistical assistance which consists of food ingredients, mineral waters, snacks, and instant noodles. She also explained that Russia regards Indonesia as a good friend and partner in the region.

She then says that Russian President Vladimir Putin had expressed his condolences for the disaster that occurred in Cianjur.

According to the Head of the Resource Development Division of PMI Jakarta, Syarifuddin, Russia is the first foreign country to provide assistance to the victims of the Cianjur earthquake through this agency.
