Two Leaders of Ambon Security Forces Went to Church on Christmas Eve

The Head of Maluku Police, Inspector General Lotharia Latif, alongside the Regional Military Commander XVI/Pattimure, Mayor General Ruruh Aris Setyawibawa, have directly reviewed the security operations for Christmas holiday to several churches in Ambon City on Christmas Eve, Saturday (12/24).

The first church that they visit is Maranatha, then to the Cathedral Church. While visiting the Catholics and the Christians church, the two commander of Ambon security forces were accompanied by high officials of Ambon City.

Their visit to Maranatha Church were welcomed by Father Jhon Ruhulessin, while in Cathedral Church, they were greeted by Bishop of the Diocese of Amboina.

“As a representative of Maluku Police, I wish you Merry Christmas. May this Christmas brings peace to this land,” says Maluku Police Chief, quoted from cakranews.id, Saturday (12/24).

Before visiting the two churches, the Police Chief and the Regional Military Commander had visited Saint Michael Church and the Teratai Kasih Church.
