Head Public Relations Division of Police Ignited the Spirit of His Personnel to Succeed Operation Lilin 2022

In an effort to secure the 2022 Christmas and New Year Eve, the Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, led the Rally for the Public Relations Task Force Preparation in Operation Lilin at the Field of the Public Relations Division of the National Police HQ, Monday (12/19).

The rally was participated by all personnel of Police Public Relations Division. The police previously stated that they will deploy their personnel to 52,636 locations, including in churches, terminals, piers and ports, airports, train station, malls, tourist destination, and places that would potentially be crowded in December’s holiday. Operation Lilin would run for eleven days.

Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo says that the success of this operation depend on the cooperation between the Police and involved parties. He explained that this year’s Christmas and New Year Eve have its own concern, such as new Covid-19 variants, natural disasters, criminal actions, or even terrorism.

“Therefore, several efforts have been prepared by the Police such as Lilin Ops disemination, traffic managements, securing vital objects, overseeing health restrictions, monitoring the distribution of goods, supplies and fuels, to coordinating with related stakeholders to maintain coordination in our cooperation,” said Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo.

In his remarks, he asked all personnel involved to give their best in carrying out their duties on Operation Lilin 2022.
