West Java police have deployed their personnel to monitor the supplies ahead of Christmas and New Year Eve to anticipate spiking and ensuring the supplies to available in markets around the country.
"We will ensure the availability and the distribution of stocks to be unhindered. We will also ensure the price is secured," says the Head of West Java Police Public Relations, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo as quoted from sindonews.com, Tuesday (12/20).
He adds that one of the efforts in monitoring the stocks and supplies was the deployment of Samapta Ciamis Police to Manis Ciamis Market.
Meanwhile, Ciamis Police Chief, AKBP Tony Prasetyo Yudhangkoro says that the monitoring of supplies is to ensure there would be no violations in marketplace.
"We would like to ask the community to not buy the supplies excessively so that it would be enough for the others too, so that there won't be scarcity in the market," he said AKBP Tony Prasetyo.
